My Story
Hi! I'm just like you. Life kicked me in the ass. I survived. And now i'm on a mission to heal the world, one beautiful soul at a time.
Let's End The Mental Health Stigma !
Life was somewhat normal until I found out I was pregnant at 18 years old. I defied a disgruntled family, entered motherhood as a teen without their support and became a wife way before I ever should have. I was physically and sexually abused for over many years. Although I found the courage to leave in 2013, I was left with severe anxiety from a bad case of PTSD and overwhelming stress managing my life as a single mom (of 2 kids, one of whom has special needs) and a busy corporate job. My lowest point came in 2017 when my untreated mental health issues developed into depression. Anxiety and depression would continue to plague me for years, especially during trigger moments such as dealing with the loss of my children's father from gun violence.
After discovering radical self-love and getting serious treatment, I've been on a successful self-help journey ever since. Now I speak out publicly to advocate and raise awareness of mental health and domestic violence.
It's never to late to change your life!
My empowering story got the attention of Hillary Clinton who I was surrogate for during her Presidential campaign. I also served as the youngest delegate representing New York at the Democratic National Convention. I've worked with a number of leading organizations to fight stigma and champion meaningful change. Professionally, I've worked in Finance and am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
